1st Generation Veteran Family-Owned Business In the making
We are a growing veteran owned Homestead located in the foothills of the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains in Patrick County VA. We have a long list of ambitious sustainability goals with our current focus on providing healthy, free-range poultry eggs to our community by investing and expanding our hobby homestead operation. We are taking all the knowledge we have gained from raising free-range chickens starting back in 2020 and looking to provide resources and education to our community.

My name is Bryan Tobey
I grew up on an apple farm in Hendersonville NC and I served in the US Army as a track diesel mechanic for just over five years before being honorably and medically discharged for my back injury.
I had always wanted to get back to a more self sustainable life style and in 2018 I found the property that changed my life for the better. As soon as I stepped foot onto the driveway I knew I had to make this work. It was not easy and there was much more of a story to it that I will not go into here but happy to chat with you if you are interested.
Shortly after purchasing the property in 2018 we started raising our own chickens and growing small gardens as we worked on expanding the useable space on the property (most of it is thick unhealthy forest). After giving away so many of our eggs the past two years to friends, family and neighbors we decided to research starting our own business.

Biblical Roots Homestead is a family owned and operated business based in the mountains of Western Virginia. Our mission is to be in service to the father’s kingdom and while experiencing the abundance of His provisions & blessings to provide sustainable, safe and healthy food for the local community while focusing on healthy soil and water.
We hope to encourage folks to read their Bible, weather that is with us physically or just reading it on your own as we continue to read for as Psalms 118:8 puts it:
